About Me

Aloha kākou, I am Hiʻilani Perreira-Gaspar

Iʻm from the small town of Panaʻewa on Hawaiʻi Island. Growing up here, I developed a deep appreciation for our land, culture, and the values that define our Hawaiian identity. I created “Ka ʻIke O Ka ʻĀina” to share this connectionm with others, especially to educate newcomers and tourists on the importance of respecting Hawaiʻi’s environment and cultural heritage. Through this project, I hope to inspire others to care for our land and to understand the impact we all have on Hawaiʻi’s future.
